Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Architected an end-to-end MLOps ecosystem for high-scale predictive platforms, bridging the gap between Data Science R&D and production-grade reliability.

As Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, proactively generating innovative ideas, crafting compelling business cases, and skillfully pitching them to key stakeholders. Dive deep into data to unearth valuable insights and translate them into actionable recommendations. You'll excel in communicating these insights to diverse audiences through both verbal presentations and visualizations. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement success metrics, ensuring alignment with product objectives and stakeholder needs.

Then you will take charge of developing and implementing machine learning models, ensuring they are not only accurate but also scalable and reliable for generating predictions efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with our Machine Learning Engineers to deploy, maintain, and enhance these models, ensuring they meet our high standards for performance. Your role will involve working with real-time data, seamlessly integrating it into our machine learning frameworks. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Developers and Operations Research Scientists, empowering them to utilise our predictions effectively to drive maximum impact in our operations.

Finally, you will play a pivotal role in our team by fostering collaboration among peers. You'll work closely with fellow data scientists to establish and implement best practices, share insights, and provide constructive feedback on each other's projects. Your expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental as you mentor junior team members, guiding them through their projects and helping them develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy: Led ML infra roadmap; drove innovation in real-time/batch inference
• Ops: Architected scalable K8s/AWS pipelines & automated MLOps lifecycles
• Leadership: Mentored mid-level engineers; established org-wide Best Practices
• Stakeholder: Translated complex ML concepts into actionable business KPIs

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in data science and machine learning methodologies, with extensive experience applying these techniques in production environments
• Proven experience in getting models to production, scaling, and maintaining them for long-term success
• Python (scikit-learn, pandas, seaborn, etc.) in notebooks and pure Python code for production, and strong proficiency in SQL
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, git, code reviews, and model lifecycle management
• Working with Docker containers to support reproducible and scalable environments
• Experience with real-time data integration and machine learning frameworks
• Basic understanding of mathematical optimization is required
• Experience with real time inference and stream processing is required
