Job Description

The Senior Area Sales Manager (SR ASM) is responsible for supervising and guiding the sales team, driving business growth by converting leads into revenue, and ensuring overall team performance aligns with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to train and motivate team members to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key clients to clearly communicate our services, deliverables, and associated requirements, ensuring strong alignment and mutual understanding.
  • Oversee the conversion of prospective customers into qualified leads and ultimately into sales by team members, while ensuring the team maintains excellent relationships with prospects, leads, and existing customers.
  • Set monthly performance targets for team members and ensure the team achieves sales goals in terms of both revenue generation and timely collections.
  • Build and sustain a highly motivated, performance-driven, and productive sales team within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report early indicators of team performance and sales achievements to proactively address gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven track record of converting leads into business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies.
