Were looking for a Senior Archiving Architect to lead enterprise-wide Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and SAP Data Archiving initiatives in a remote, global environment.
This is a high-impact architecture role where youll define data retention strategies, residence times, governance standards, and classical SAP archiving (SARA) across large enterprise landscapes.
What Youll Own
Enterprise ILM strategy & governance
SAP classical data archiving (SARA) architecture
Data retention & residence time policy definition
Business-led data classification & scoping
Compliance-ready, secure, auditable archiving solutions
Collaboration with Business, IT, Data Governance & Compliance teams
Archiving roadmap, standards, and best practices
Mentoring architects and senior technical teams
What Were Looking For
15+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture / Archiving / ILM
Deep expertise in Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)
Hands-on experience with SAP Data Archiving (SARA)
Strong experience defining retention policies & residence times
Solid understanding of data governance, audit & compliance
Ability to drive business workshops & executive-level discussions
Proven capability translating business policy into technical architecture
Nice to Have
SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA archiving exposure
Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy industries
Enterprise-scale data governance programs
