Senior Architect

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural design from concept through to execution: conceptualization, schematic design, design development, working drawings, and construction documentation.

Oversee preparation of plans, elevations, sections, 3D renderings, visuals, and presentation materials.

Ensure compliance with municipal regulations, codes, safety, statutory approvals, environmental norms.

Manage and lead site visits for design oversight, execution monitoring, quality control, resolving site challenges.

Mentor and guide junior architects/drafters; review their work and provide feedback.

Participate in client meetings, present designs, respond to design modifications / revisions based on feedback.

Oversee project timelines, ensure deliverables are on schedule and within budget.

Ensure documentation, asbuilt drawings and handover deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch); Master's (M.Arch) is preferred.

10-12 years of relevant experience in architecture, or depending on scale and complexity, maybe more. Should have handled full lifecycle of projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit; strong skills in 3D tools/rendering software (SketchUp, Lumion, V Ray, etc.)

Detail orientation, ability to produce/review working/construction drawings.

Strong communication (verbal & written) for dealing with clients, consultants, contractors.

Leadership: ability to lead small teams, guide juniors.

Problem solving, resolving site issues, adaptability.
