Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to lead the design and execution of residential and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for architectural planning, design coordination, statutory approvals, and site execution, ensuring quality, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and planning for residential and commercial projects
- Prepare concept designs, schematic drawings, working drawings, and detailed construction drawings
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure design integration
- Review and approve architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and 3D views
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, bylaws, and statutory regulations
- Handle client meetings, presentations, and design approvals
- Guide and mentor junior architects and drafting teams
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is executed correctly
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors
- Review BOQs, specifications, and material selections
- Address design-related issues during construction and provide solutions
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedules
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 410 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Lumion, Photoshop (or equivalent tools)
- Working knowledge of structural drawings and coordination
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, and cost-effective design solutions
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills- Experience in handling large-scale or mixed-use projects
- Knowledge of green building concepts and sustainable design
- Experience in statutory approvals and authority coordination
