Role Description

  • Own the architecture for UMP integrations (APIs, events, data flows)
  • Design and build critical integration components and frameworks
  • Define and promote standard integration patterns and best practices
  • Review designs and code for scalability, reliability, and security
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on complex integration needs
  • Apply modern approaches, including AI/ML services, where they add value

Experience Profile

  • 14+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to integration or platform architecture
  • Experience working in productcentric or SaaS environments
  • Comfortable dealing with complex, evolving systems and requirements

Core Capabilities

  • APIfirst and eventdriven architecture design
  • Strong handson coding in Java, Spring boot
  • Cloudnative systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to AI/LLMbased integrations is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA) in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Platform-wide integration architecture and evolution
  • API life cycle, versioning, and contract governance
  • Event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
  • Reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of integrations
  • Secure partner and external system connectivity
