Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data architecture, data modeling, and big data technologies, with Python and SQL as mandatory skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop data models, pipelines, and ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Data Lake Storage.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure cloud adoption and data modernization strategies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
- Mandatory expertise in Python and SQL for data processing, querying, and automation.
- Strong experience in Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Cosmos DB, ADLS, etc.).
- Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Knowledge of Azure security, networking, and governance best practices.
- Experience with real-time and batch data processing.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with Power BI, AI/ML integration, or DevOps in a data environment.
Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
