Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Architect role based in Mumbai. The Senior Architect will lead end-to-end architectural design projects, from concept development and space planning to detailed drawings and on-site execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating briefs into design concepts, preparing presentations, and coordinating with interior designers, contractors, and vendors. The role involves overseeing project timelines and budgets, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic, safety, and regulatory standards. The Senior Architect will also mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews, and help refine internal design processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a portfolio demonstrating creative, functional, and buildable solutions.
- Proven Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and budget oversight for multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with Integration of design elements, systems, and materials to create cohesive spaces that align with client requirements and building regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with Software Development or technology teams for integrating digital tools (e.g., BIM, 3D modeling, visualization software) into the design workflow.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is preferred.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong visualization and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead meetings and explain design decisions clearly.
- Experience in interior architecture or high-end residential/commercial design is an advantage, especially within the Mumbai market.
