Senior Architect

Role Description The Senior Architect will lead architectural design and project delivery, overseeing concept development, detailed design, and coordination with engineering and interior design teams. This full-time, on-site role is based in Defence Colony and involves managing multiple large scale projects, guiding junior team members, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design proposals and construction drawings, reviewing technical documentation, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors. The Senior Architect will participate in design reviews, monitor project progress, resolve design and coordination issues, and support integration of MEP solutions into overall project designs.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a proven track record of delivering complex large scale projects such as malls, airports, etc.
• Understanding of Integration between architectural, structural, and MEP systems to ensure cohesive, buildable solutions.
• Familiarity with relevant Software Development or system integration concepts as they relate to BIM, design tools, or project workflows.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, visualization software, etc).
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience in large-scale public, institutional, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
