Job Description

Hiring: Senior Application Support Lead (L3 / TechOps)

Location: New Delhi / NCR

Experience: 8–15 Years

Domain: Banking & Financial Services (Mandatory: PSU Bank Experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Lead (L3/TechOps) to manage and support critical enterprise applications in a 24x7 production environment. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management, ensuring seamless operations across banking applications such as UPI and Core Banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor L1/L2 support teams
  • Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and delivery tracking
  • Coordinate with development, QA teams, and bank stakeholders for UAT and production releases

Application & Server Management

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain WebLogic & JBoss servers
  • Ensure availability and performance of UPI & Core Banking applications

Production Support & Monitoring

  • Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, DB health)
  • Use tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, APM for proactive monitoring
  • Maintain SLA adherence and reporting

Incident & Problem Management

  • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting (logs, thread dumps)
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Drive permanent fixes via change management

Database & Platform Operations

  • Execute SQL (DDL/DML) for troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Work with Oracle / MySQL environments

Disaster Recovery & Deployment

  • Manage DR drills and DC–DR failovers
  • Handle deployments (WAR files) and OS patching (Linux/Windows)

Technical Skills

  • Operating Systems: Linux/Unix (RHEL), Windows Server
  • Middleware: WebLogic, JBoss
  • Databases: Oracle (11g/12c), MySQL
  • Scripting: Shell scripting, Unix commands (Sed, Awk, Grep, Find)
  • Tools: JIRA, Splunk, Dynatrace, WinSCP, PuTTY
  • Domain Expertise: UPI / Core Banking (Finacle preferred)

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA or related field
  • Certifications in Linux / Finacle (preferred)
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience in Banking / Financial Services (PSU Bank preferred)
  • Strong experience in L3 Production Support
  • Hands-on with middleware + database + Linux stack
