We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our e-commerce platform in the pharmaceutical industry, meeting service level agreements and maintaining seamless application operations within a distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep business-critical applications operational in line with service level agreements
- Proactively lead actions toward resolving issues and ensuring final solutions are implemented
- Conduct Application Support maintenance to meet application availability requirements
- Foster and maintain effective communication and strong relationships with the customer
- Analyze incoming requests and issues to determine optimal solutions and actions
- Collaborate effectively across various technology services to troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Adapt to evolving priorities and ensure timely responses to changing requirements
Requirements
- 5-10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years working in an application support or production support environment
- Background in Linux systems with proficiency in Bash scripts and familiarity with Automation using Bash/Shell scripting
- Knowledge of writing SQL queries for application maintenance and application troubleshooting
- Capability to understand and navigate complex and changing technical solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle issues effectively and prioritize tasks
- High level of self-motivation, drive, and resilience with a commitment to professional excellence
- Flexibility to reschedule tasks or adapt to changes in dynamic environments
- Competency in working collaboratively across teams and technical domains
- Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels
