Sr Application Platform Engineer - Middleware, Content
Senior engineer responsible for leading the technical roadmap, delivery, and automation of complex platform and web environments. This role drives design, deployment, security, and reliability across multiple technology stacks while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering support for IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Adobe Experience Manager, Oracle 19c/RDBMS, VMs, and Storage
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub
- Automate monitoring, deployments, and plugandplay platform components
- Manage security, vulnerability patching, certificates, secrets, CORS, HTTP2, HSTS
- Support AKS/Kubernetes, Chaos Engineering, and Disaster Recovery (nonprod)
- Coordinate builds, deployments, and releases with multiple stakeholders
- Provide ITSM support (change, incident, problem management)
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years experience (or equivalent)
- 3+ years in platform/infrastructure delivery (Agile/Waterfall)
- Handson experience with WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, AEM, Oracle RDBMS
- Strong knowledge of automation, security, Docker, Kubernetes, DR, and load balancing
- SME across multiple web technologies preferred
