Primary Responsibilities

  • Quality and Efficient Output Production:
    • Plan and execute projects with minimal direction, leveraging prior industry knowledge to address new project types.
    • Use Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other tools to create customized, effective, and accurate deliverables for clients based on practice team input.
    • Leverage benchmark/survey information and business knowledge to identify meaningful trends, competitor insights, and recommendations for client engagements.
    • Analyze client organizational structures (e.g., sales/field teams) to standardize and compare roles across companies.
    • Utilize and improve automation tools to generate analyses more efficiently.
    • Participate in the design and implementation of customized benchmarking surveys using web-based tools.
    • Ownership of Work:
      • Deliver work accurately and consistently within project timelines.
      • Demonstrate self-management skills while leveraging peer and manager experience.
      • Balance both detailed execution (in the weeds) and strategic insights as needed.
      • Communicate methods, results, and their implications clearly with minimal oversight.
      • Critical Thinking & Innovation:
        • Contribute to product development initiatives focused on analytics and benchmarking.
        • Identify new ways to integrate technology and analytics into incentive compensation and field operations studies.
        • Teamwork:
          • Collaborate effectively with peers, providing support and feedback.
          • Participate actively in reviews and discussions, contributing insights and clarifications.
          • Demonstrate openness to coaching and apply feedback to deliver stronger results.
          Qualifications

          Skills and Experience

          Required

          • Bachelor's degree
          • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI
          • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
          • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and refine outputs
          • Strong business writing, communication, and presentation skills
          • 36 years of experience in analytical or operations roles
          • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

          Preferred

          • MBA or equivalent preferred
          • Experience in Incentive Compensation design, analytics, or administration
          • Exposure to competitor benchmarking or competitor insights analysis
          • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (PowerBI, Power Query, automation tools)
          • Salesforce reporting and dashboarding experience
