Who You Are
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards, data extracts and queries for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
- Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, Cloud Data Warehouses, etc.).
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Tableau solutions.
- Support end-users with training, documentation, and ongoing dashboard enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance and security standards.
- Ensure data quality and validation through regular audits to maintain accuracy and reliability of all reports and dashboards.
- Document dashboard designs, data sources, and processes to support transparency and ease of future maintenance.
Your Role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Proven track record of working with large datasets and creating scalable visualization solutions.
- Experience in data modelling, SQL querying, and connecting Tableau to multiple data sources.
- Exposure to ETL tools and BI ecosystems (e.g., Power BI, Palantir, or Snowflake) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of business processes and KPIs in domains such as Supply chain, Finance and Operations.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership. Fast learner.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep; advanced calculations and LOD; performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, stored procedures) and Relational Databases.
- Data Modelling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) (e.g. Using ETL tools like Tableau Prep)
- Data Warehousing and Database Knowledge (e.g. Connecting Tableau to Snowflake or SQL Server and optimizing queries for large-scale datasets.)
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R to automate data cleaning or perform statistical analysis.
