In this role, you will support the HEOR team in evidence generation and deriving solutions for clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. You will contribute to Systematic literature reviews and assist in the development of value communications such as SLR/TLR reports. You will:
. Provide expertise in designing, executing, and managing literature review services, including systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and targeted literature searches.
. Refine literature review questions in alignment with project lead and prepare research protocols.
. Design literature searches for electronic databases (e.g., PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library) and grey literature (e.g., conference proceedings, regulatory sites).
. Screen abstracts and full-texts to determine relevance based on PICO criteria.
. Critical appraisal to assess study quality, risk of bias, and heterogeneity to determine suitability for inclusion.
. Create and review PRISMA diagrams to document full-text study selection.
. Extract and synthesize data from included articles into predefined templates, performing meta-analyses where appropriate.
. Draft evidence tables, figures, final reports, and presentation decks, interpreting patterns and trends.
. Ensure quality and accuracy of assigned work.
Essential Requirements:
. Advanced degree (PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's) in a relevant scientific field, with 3+ years (PhD/Master's) or 5+ years (Bachelor's) of experience in systematic literature review methods in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting setting.
. Experience conducting different types of literature reviews (clinical, economic, QoL, burden of illness, etc.) and meta-analyses.
. Experience using statistical software (e.g., RevMan, Stata, R, Comprehensive Meta-Analysis) to conduct meta-analyses, generate forest plots, and calculate pooled estimates.
. Proficiency in biomedical databases (e.g., MEDLINE, Embase) and systematic review tools.
. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
. Skilled in reference management tools (e.g., EndNote, Readcube) and Microsoft Office suite.
. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
. Prior experience working in any of the therapeutic areas of Cardiovascular Renal Metabolism (CRM), Respiratory, Inflammation, Immunology, Oncology would be advantageous.
