What You'll Do

The SIOP Senior analyst will play a critical role as Subject matter expert in driving the effectiveness of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process across the organization. This position is responsible for developing actionable plans, assigning ownership, and delivering measurable results for each of the SIOP steps. This role will ensure alignment between global and regional teams, optimizes product portfolios, improves SIOP performance metrics, improve process maturity and integrates operational and financial planning to support business objectives. This role will support deployment of SIOP standard work across all the business divisions.

Individual will develop and deploy standard SIOP processes and models which should be accepted by businesses as a benchmark solution by allowing better Integrated Business Planning with all cross functional key stakeholders including Finance, Product Managers, Sales, marketing, Planners and Customers.

Work independently to ensure step ownership is assigned to the appropriate RASIC responsible party for each region, in alignment with global and regional business SIOP teams.

Collaborate closely with business leadership to identify and implement changes in tools, processes, or ownership structures.

Strong understanding of product families and SKU classifications to effectively prioritize SIOP team efforts.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with regional and network teams to make data actionable at every step and drive continuous improvement using 4-Up and RAILs for prioritization. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Portfolio Optimization:
  • Apply standard product complexity reduction methodologies to streamline and rationalize product portfolios in partnership with global and regional Product Line Managers (PLMs).
  • Deliver targeted SKU reduction goals for each product line.
  • SIOP Metrics Performance:
  • Lead systematic measurement and continuous improvement of key SIOP metrics.
  • Take full accountability for initiatives that enhance metrics performance across all SIOP process steps.
  • Supply Planning:
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify constraints and develop a rolling 424 month constrained demand plan.

Ensure operational execution aligns with the constrained demand plan.

  • Drive robust Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), covering units, hours, workforce, and capacity requirements.
  • Financial Integration:
  • Partner with regional cross-functional teams to integrate SIOP outputs into a unified plan reflected in the rolling financial forecast.
  • Align financial forecasts with SIOP plans and validate tie-outs.
  • Monitor and report monthly accuracy of sales and inventory forecasts against actuals.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Enhance tools, processes, and RASIC frameworks to establish clear business-level ownership.
  • Promote best practices and standardize processes across regions.
  • Collaborate with business teams to facilitate process assessment, drive process improvements and elevate SIOP deployment and maturity levels.

Qualifications


Should be Engineering Graduate with Master's degree (Preferably MBA Operations)



  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience into Supply Chain with expertise in SIOP/S&OP, Inventory Management, Material Planning & supply chain management in global environments.

Skills


  • Inventory Analytics with MTO/MTS, ABC/XYZ Classification, Strong understanding of MRP & Replenishment planning
  • CPIM certification will be an added advantage



  • Proficient skills level ERP- SAP, MFGPro, Business warehousing, OBIEE, Power BI, Advance Excel (knowledge of SAP & BW is preferred).
  • Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred SAP, Mfg. Pro)
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI with DAX modelling, SQL & Excel with VBA (understanding cloud system like Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage)
