Senior Analyst - Operations Finance

In this key role within the Global Finance Shared Services Team in India, the Senior Analyst will assist the Site Ops Finance team in Cost Productivity, Data analytics and Capital Execution (CapEx). This role will work closely with the Site Strategic Projects Manager as well as the Site Operations Finance Leader to lead data analytics activities for Site Cost Productivity, Capital Investment Projects, and Decommission/Demolition (Decom/Demo) Programs. The incumbent will utilize financial analysis and data-driven value-added insights to help optimize operational costs and improve financial performance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in finance operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making for stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include:
Tasks and responsibilities
- Lead financial data analytics for Waterford Strategic Programs
- Support Site Cost Productivity benefits calculations, including creation of Financial Tools and calculating simple payback
- Lead coordination of Cost Productivity actuals benefits tracking (20-30 Projects per year)
- Support Budget Management of Site Cost Productivity and Decom/Demo Program including monthly actuals tracking and forecasting future spending
- Support Annual Operation Plan (AOP) Planning Activities for Cost Productivity, CapEx, and Demo/Decom Programs
- Support Financial Closure Process of Site CapEx Projects (50-80 closures per year)
- Investment Controlling - Capex tracking, CWIP, Capitalization, Depreciation check
- Supporting Plant Operation data as requested by stakeholders
- Handle ad-hoc requests from Stakeholders & Manager promptly and effectively for business continuity
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies
- Track actual Cost saving projects and its reflection in P&L
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA degree required in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis Skillset based on experience in a finance role in the manufacturing Industry
- Total 8 years of industry Finance experience wherein 3-5 years of progressive Plant Finance Controlling experience
- ERP knowledge and experience (SAP knowledge is a plus)
- Experience working in a global environment
- Good interpersonal & English Communication skills (mandate)
- Pro-active attitude, pragmatic, Multitask handling and team player
- Organizational and flexible skills
- Working Time Zone - Europe standard time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau and MS PowerPoint experience
- Exposure in Global Shared services set up is a Plus
