Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated finance professional to join our team as Senior Analyst, FP&A. This role will focus on Business Unit (BU) Finance, playing a key part in financial planning and P&L reporting to support business unit leaders in decision-making and performance management.
• In this BU Finance role, you will provide financial insights into expenses, profitability, and revenue trends, with a strong focus on P&L reporting and expense analysis, ensuring alignment to our financial plan and targets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, high-growth SaaS environment. Our ideal candidate brings strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, along with experience driving process improvements. The role requires a balance of technical expertise and business acumen to influence key financial decisions.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Update BvA data packs and maintain supporting financial models to track BU performance across the full P&L.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data into actionable insights for BU leadership.
• Serve as a finance partner to business unit leaders, providing data-driven insights on expense variances, and profitability.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment to our financial plan and targets.
• Support the tracking and reporting of non-subscription backlog, partnering with Accounting and Services teams to ensure alignment with operational delivery.
• Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis to inform key business decisions.
• Continuously enhance FP&A processes through automation, best practices, and innovative analytical approaches.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally at a high-growth private equity-backed SaaS company, with a focus on business unit finance.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with tools like Power BI, FCCS, Oracle/Adaptive Planning, and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite & Salesforce) is highly desirable
• Analytical Expertise: Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and reconciling financial metrics, including ARR calculations
• Process Optimization: Proven track record of driving efficiencies in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ethics and Confidentiality: High standards of integrity and confidentiality when managing sensitive information
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for presenting complex data in a clear, actionable manner
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and analytical mindset with a keen focus on continuous improvement.
