Could you be the full-time Senior FP&A Analyst in our Global Finance Centre in [Bangalore] we're looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial planning and analysis expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in providing a fair and transparent view of Alstom's financial performance, enabling data-driven decision-making at global, regional, cluster, or site levels. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Region FP&A, Operations Finance, and Treasury/Tax/Accounting teams), analyze financial data, and support operational and commercial teams with insightful reporting and ad hoc analyses.

You'll specifically take care of preparing accurate financial results and forecasts, as well as analyzing key financial metrics, but also contribute to improving and streamlining financial processes and reporting systems.

We'll look to you for:

  • Ensuring timely collection, processing, and analysis of financial data
  • Preparing actual financial results, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Providing early warning signals and generating insights for business decision-making
  • Maintaining and enhancing financial analytical reporting systems
  • Analyzing Cash KPIs, including free cash flow, EBIT to cash, operating working capital, overdues, and down payments
  • Supporting budgeting and monthly reporting activities for cash-related items
  • Managing Forex hedging relations and FX exposure reporting
  • Participating in the preparation and presentation of monthly business reviews
  • Controlling indirect cost centers and overseeing overhead and contract reporting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with group strategies
  • Identifying cost optimization opportunities and detecting trends in KPIs

  • Master's degree in Finance or equivalent (CA/CMA preferred)
  • 5-8 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
  • Experience in long-term project accounting (a plus)
  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to synthesize complexity into simplicity
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Some IT systems savviness
  • Proactive approach to proposing change and innovation
