FM Knowledge including OTC Derivative Products (Future/Option)

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Data Engineer to act as a Data Steward for handling product setup request related to Futures Desk along with handling Corporate Action Tasks.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, financial markets & governance and so knowledge / experience in Derivatives F&O & SQL is a must.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring, owning, managing high, reliable data quality all the time and making sure trading desk face no disruption while placing trade orders.
Ensure data quality, lineage, consistency and integrity is maintained across the system.
Act as primary point of contact for all data related queries / request within Futures Desk.
Should be able to work as individual contributor with minimum dependency.
Should be able to communicate & collaborate well in a professional manner with all internal & external stakeholders.
Should be well versed with tech tools like Confluence, JIRA, GitLab, Testing Methodologies along with intermediate knowledge of SQL, VBA
Should know or have experience of symbology sourcing from 3rd party vendors like Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.
Candidate should be able to resolve all kinds of data discrepancies to find root cause & get it fixed within tight timelines and should not wait for things to break, escalate.
Candidate should be able to write queries to create pattern-based enrichers or identify which type of enricher is suitable to use when On boarding certain complex product types.
Candidate should be proactively working to see resolution of data exceptions, identify data quality (DQ) issues, address user queries, user requests, vendor data notifications, root cause investigation of data issues and taking corrective/preventive measures
Full Corporate action knowledge such as Mandatory & Non-Mandatory type of events and its financial impact of products.
Should be handle huge volumes related to Data Maintenance work and provide correct output to avoid repetitive work
Able to work independently and from Mumbai office always
