Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Analyst, Value Enablement & Optimization, you will be instrumental in:

Strategic Support

  • Designing and implementing value enablement frameworks for Pricing, Pre-Sales Enablement, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's overarching growth strategies.
  • Collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to ensure scalable solutions that are tailored to specific regional needs.
  • Providing data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, enhance pre-sales propositions, and ensure superior customer success.
  • Developing project structures/frameworks and building/reviewing presentations for key initiatives.
  • Conducting thorough data sanity and hygiene checks to ensure robust data integrity.
  • Converting complex business problems into analytical problems to facilitate strategic development.

Technical Leadership

  • Developing and deploying advanced analytics tools, including ROI calculators and comprehensive value dashboards.
  • Utilizing proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for sophisticated data analysis, modeling, and tool development.
  • Creating dynamic dashboards and compelling visualizations using various business intelligence platforms.
  • Integrating AI/ML models to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of analytical tools.
  • Driving process efficiency and scalability through automation and advanced analytics solutions.

Value Enablement Initiatives

  • Building frameworks to effectively measure and track customer value realization.
  • Designing tailored customer solutions and compelling business cases incorporating predictive models and real-time insights.
  • Developing self-service analytics tools to empower teams with actionable insights.
  • Encouraging participation in Sandbox challenges and leading regular brainstorming sessions for new ideas and innovations.
  • Building agile and flexible solutions by thoroughly understanding core business processes and context.

Revenue Optimization

  • Identifying and implementing revenue optimization opportunities through strategic data analysis.
  • Monitoring key performance metrics to ensure alignment with revenue goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing tools to track realized ROI and provide diagnostics for customer outcomes.

Collaboration & Team Enablement

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, actively encouraging knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Planning and leading working sessions with the team to drive progress and foster creativity.
  • Providing mentorship and constructive feedback for personal and professional growth within the team.
  • Supporting training and enablement for internal teams on new analytics tools and methodologies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Creating and implementing comprehensive roadmaps for strategic initiatives.
  • Managing regular connects and alignment with stakeholders, effectively handling escalations.
  • Planning and articulating stand-ups, agendas, action items, and next steps for various projects and meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, pricing strategy, customer success, or related roles, ideally within the payments, financial services, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling data-driven tools and frameworks with demonstrable and measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with strong experience in building scalable analytics solutions.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating impactful dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models to drive predictive insights and automate workflows is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to design and implement advanced analytics and visualization solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen focus on deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical insights into clear business impact.
  • Deep understanding of pricing strategies, customer success enablement, and revenue optimization principles.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA/Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics, data science, or AI/ML are preferred.
