Title: Senior Marketing Automation & Integration Developer
Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Automation developer to lead advanced implementations and integrations on the Braze & other Marketing Automation platforms. In this critical role, you will architect and manage end-to-end automation ecosystems, integrating Braze and other Marketing Automation tools with CRMs, CDPs, analytics, and AI platforms to deliver seamless omnichannel customer experiences.
Requirements
- Lead design, architecture, and delivery of complex Braze and other MA tools integrations and automation workflows.
- Manage data synchronization between Braze and other MA tools with systems like CRM, CDP, analytics, and data warehouses.
- Develop custom integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.
- Build end-to-end customer journeys with advanced personalization, segmentation, and event-based triggers.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices for campaign and integration management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across data, API, or delivery layers.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists, developers, and AI teams to bring innovative engagement use cases to life.
- Provide technical assistance for campaign tools and platforms, including troubleshooting access, integrations, and environment-related issues in coordination with the IT team.
- Support the design, execution, and optimization of customer journeys and campaigns in Braze and other MA palfforms ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure data privacy, security compliance, and scalable architecture across platforms.
- Prepare technical documentation, run performance audits, and optimize system efficiency.
Responsibilities
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Automation, with at least 3 years in Braze.
- Proven expertise in API-based integrations, ETL workflows, and system-level architecture.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, customer lifecycle management, and marketing analytics.
- Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, and server-side scripting.
- Prior work on other MA platforms like SFMC, Adobe Campaign, Hubspot etc is highly desirable.
- Platform certifications in Braze or equivalent enterprise tools will be a strong advantage.
- Experience working with CI/CD automation, Git repositories, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred.
Braze Platform Expertise
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in the Braze platform with proven expertise in campaign setup, Canvas building, and event-driven automation.
- Deep understanding of user segmentation, event properties, Liquid personalization, and subscription management.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing Braze Intelligent Selection, Connected Content, and Catalogs (CDI) for dynamic personalization.
- Manage and support cloud data ingestion processes to ensure seamless integration of customer and campaign data into Braze and related marketing platforms.
- Handle CSV imports via Lambda functions, including data transformation, validation, and automated ingestion into the target platform.
- Proficient in Currents setup and monitoring to stream Braze event data into data warehouses or analytics platforms.
- Ability to architect and maintain App Groups, Workspaces, and multi-channel delivery (Email, Push, In-App, Webhooks, SMS).
- Strong understanding of data synchronization between Braze and external systems such as CRM, CDP, analytics, and data warehouses.
- Experience in API-based integrations using REST, JSON, and webhooks.
- Proficiency in ETL workflows, data mapping, and identity resolution for unified customer profiles.
- Familiarity with Braze Currents + Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift integration setups for analytics and reporting.
