The Analytics, Investments and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team-within Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM)-is the analytics engine powering Commercial customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. AIM develops insights, data products, and analytical solutions that shape smarter marketing and powerful digital experiences.

This Senior Analyst role sits within Corporate Digital Acquisition Analytics, supporting the strategy, development, and optimization of personalized digital experiences for Commercial corporate prospects across Digital channels using data, advanced analytics, and emerging AI.

How will you make an impact in this role

As a Senior Analyst, you will lead analytical work that fuels the next generation of AMEX's Corporate digital acquisition engine. You will design and implement data-driven strategies, build analytical solutions to optimize targeting, personalization, and prospect conversion.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing analytics, enthusiastic about emerging AI and GenAI capabilities, and eager to help shape how AMEX engages Commercial Corporate prospects in a dynamic and competitive digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical solutions and data products that improve targeting accuracy, personalization, and digital acquisition performance across the AMEX website.
  • Build and enhance targeting models leveraging AMEX's vast first-party data and evolving digital intelligence capabilities.
  • Apply emerging AI and GenAI techniques, such as intelligent customer journey optimization, semantic modeling and automated insights to enhance targeting precision and analytical productivity.
  • Drive experimentation, performance measurement and Investment optimization - designing test structures, evaluating results, and making actionable recommendations to improve conversion and efficiency.
  • Develop & foster cross functional relationships with partners across American Express to ensure implementation of analytical solutions and ensure business impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics).
  • 1-2 years of professional work experience in Data Science and Analytics domain
  • Experience working with LLMs and in building ML models like XGBoost, K-Means, etc with proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or similar knowledge of digital analytics or experimentation frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on GenAI experience with background in Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures to solve business problems
  • Experience in digital marketing analytics, personalization, website optimization, or acquisition strategy.
  • Familiarity and interest in applying emerging AI and Gen AI capabilities to improve digital targeting outcomes.
  • Experience in large data processing and handling and basic understanding of data science: XGBoost, decision trees, regression modeling, etc.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence partners and drive action.
