How will you make an impact in this role

The Analytics, Investments and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team a part of Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM) is the analytics engine that enables the Global Commercial business. The team is responsible for driving Commercial Customer acquisitions, engagement & retention by evolving our card & beyond-card products, targeting customers over online and offline channels through delivering world-class Analytics, Insights and Data Products.

This specific role would be a part of the Digital Site Analytics team within AIM.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering best in class Data Products to develop & implement Digital Marketing Programs in this ever-changing Digital targeting landscape
  • Creating world class data products powered by Data & Dynamic Intelligence
  • Drive Audience Identification and Custom targeting leveraging Amex and Partner data assets
  • Creating data segmentation & optimization strategies for targeting profitable prospects with the right product/incentive across multiple digital channels
  • Develop and foster cross functional relationships with partners across American Express
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics)
  • 1-2 years of professional work experience in Data Science and Analytics domain
  • Strong programming skills with Python and SQL experience
  • Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Digital analytics experience and familiarity with paid marketing channels, digital marketing technology
  • Experience in large data processing and handling; and basic understanding of data science: XGBoost, decision trees, regression modeling, etc.
