Job Description
The SPT Product Analytics team specifically partners with GCS Product organization to inform product roadmap decisions, commercial strategy, and portfolio performance management. The team delivers performance diagnostics, forward-looking insights, and scalable measurement frameworks that support business decision across the product organization.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of product performance drivers across client usage, merchant acceptance, geographic trends, competitive dynamics, and early warning risk indicators. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with strategic thinking, financial acumen, and executive-level storytelling, and thrives in a highly matrixed, geographically distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Support product and client performance analytics, contributing to measurement frameworks and delivering insights that inform G&S growth and T&E strategy.
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities, including client segmentation, trend analysis, and competitive insights; translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Apply advanced analytics and data techniques, including automation and basic machine learning approaches where appropriate, to improve efficiency and depth of analysis.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting, including monthly performance reviews, with clear and concise narratives on key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Finance to support business decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Contribute to scalable analytics solutions, including development of data assets, dashboards, and tools that improve team efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance) or equivalent analytical background.
- 3–8 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, corporate finance, or related roles (2–4 years with Master's/MBA).
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python; experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Payments or Financial Services.
- Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to high-impact analytical projects.
