Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payment issuer and partner for businesses with products and services that help them grow and run their businesses. The GCS Product Analytics team plays a pivotal role within the GCS Products organization by providing advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to driver deep insights into client behavior. How will you make an impact in this role
The GCS Product Analytics group is currently hiring for a Senior Analyst, Commercial Lending Analytics who will be responsible for delivering insights to optimize performance, inform product design, and drive customer engagement with the Commercial lending portfolio. This role represents a unique opportunity to leverage applied quantitative experience to directly shape strategy across revolving, installment, and emerging lending products. The ideal candidate will bring a unique balance of technical skills combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop advanced analytics, segmentation frameworks, and forecasting tools to understand customer behaviors and trends in key business metrics, e.g. ADB, AR, etc.
Perform ad hoc analyses to identify trends, understand performance drivers, and unlock growth opportunities
Design and build automated lending data assets and self-service dashboards to monitor lending portfolio performance
Serve as subject matter expert for lending data sources and metrics
Translate complex data into actionable business insights that inform product and portfolio decisions
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant professional experience including experience in hands-on analytical role(s) defining and tracking key business metrics, performing deep-dive analyses, and influencing business strategies Lending, card products, or portfolio analytics experience is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems
Coding and technical expertise including the use of use cloud-based analytical tools, querying languages, and visualization software (e.g., SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders, and to explain business processes, concepts, and issues to technical resources
Strong curiosity and initiative in tackling complex business analysis dives deeply into the data, relentlessly pursues its meaning, and how these insights can drive business performance
Bachelor's degree Advanced degrees in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc.) preferred.
