What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage on our Client Focus path within BCG's Healthcare Practice Area, you will work in a growing India (focus area) and global teams delivering value to clients through your healthcare expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific datasets, and related expertise). You will contribute to cases and proposals by generating relevant analysis and insights, helping case teams create strong impact for the client, and adapting approaches to specific client contexts.

You will also support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector (in conjunction with business leaders) by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials, and you will help develop IP and reusable assets for the practice.

Healthcare scope (HC_CF): You are expected to support some or all of the following topics (depending on staffing needs): GTM, market analysis, peer group analysis, company analysis, product development/R&D, product commercialization, launch optimization, launch excellence, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and AI in healthcare, digital healthcare operations, among others.

Typical responsibilities

. Own discrete workstreams/modules within cases and proposals: structure the problem, run analyses, and synthesize implications into client-ready takeaways
. Support client delivery through meetings, interviews, workshops, and working sessions, including presenting/walking through your own outputs
. Proactively coordinate information requests and manage delivery cadence, quality, and stakeholder expectations
. Contribute to knowledge development by codifying case learnings into scalable artifacts (benchmarks, modules, methodologies, templates, datasets, and tools)
. Mentor and support junior colleagues through guidance, QA, and informal feedback (bringing them up to speed on healthcare context and ways of working)

What You'll Bring

. 2+ years of consulting experience in healthcare (experience in India healthcare market preferred) required candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
. In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
. Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
. Fluency in English
. Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Healthcare-specific qualifications (HC_CF)

. Familiarity with commonly used healthcare and life sciences databases and sources
. Comfort working across commercial and operations topics within the healthcare/pharma/MedTech/Providers/Healthcare systems value chain (e.g., GTM/commercialization and manufacturing/supply chain/procurement)

Nice to have
. Operations consulting or manufacturing industry experience exposure to lean principles/tools familiarity with pharma supply chain/procurement complexities
. Exposure to operating model strategy / shared services / intelligent process automation and larger-scale ops transformation efforts
. Exposure to AI tools and strategy in healthcare across sectors (Biopharma, MedTech, Healthcare systems)
. Hands-on experience with basic AI tools

Who You'll Work With

As a Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage on our Client Focus path, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with India and global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
