What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst/ Manager - BCG Vantage in India on our Client Focus path within BCG's Energy Practice Area, you will work in a growing India business, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will be deployed on cases at client site/remote and also at times contribute to proposals through thought partnership in your area of expertise, deliver original analyses and insights helping drive strong impact with clients. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.

You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights & advice primarily for client workshops/modules and proposals. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst/ Manager - BCG Vantage, you will also be required to contribute to development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior CT colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

At BCG, our India Energy (Power & Utilities) Practice works with clients in generation, transmission, distribution, and power markets.

The candidate is expected to have understanding of key trends and regulatory dynamics shaping the power sector in India, including energy transition, grid modernization, decarbonization, and market evolution

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of consulting or customer-facing research experience within Renewable Energy and the broader Power & Utilities sector.
• Strong domain expertise in Renewable Energy, with working knowledge of the power value chain, particularly Transmission and Distribution familiarity with conventional generation and power trading is advantageous
• Practical experience supporting Renewable Energy initiatives such as bid modeling, bid support, and execution optimization.
• Solid understanding of power market structures, market design, and the regulatory environment, including key policies shaping the Renewable Energy landscape.
• Exposure to Commercial & Industrial (C&I) go-to-market strategies is a plus.
• Prior industry experience in the Power or Renewable Energy sector is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor, structured problem-solving ability, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Fluency in English

As a Senior Analyst/ Manager - BCG Vantage on our Client Focus path, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
