Job overview
The Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) technology and services team focuses on current and emerging trends across the FCC lifecycle (e.g., sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, KYC/CTF, fraud prevention, case management, investigations, and regulatory change management) and assesses how these trends shape corresponding software products, platforms, data models, and operational ecosystems. This team advises enterprises, technology/platform providers, and service providers on how the FCC technology stack should evolve to meet tightening regulatory expectations, rising financial crime risks, and rapid advancements in analytics and automation. From our published research to custom decision support, the FCC team equips clients with fact-based insights to analyze market shifts, thematic issues, and provider capabilities across the FCC landscape.
As this is a fast-evolving domain, the Senior Analyst is expected to continuously track developments in the FCC industry in line with regulatory updates, evolving typologies, emerging risk vectors, and innovation across the technology and service provider ecosystem. This includes monitoring specialist FCC technology vendors, broader data and analytics platforms, digital workflow and case management solutions, and managed services/BPaaS providers that support end-to-end or modular FCC processes. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the research program by producing high-quality, original research and custom advisory projects. The role requires maintaining ongoing dialogue with senior executives at financial institutions and FCC technology and service providers on key challenges and opportunities and supporting their inquiries with relevant insights. The candidate will also deliver custom research engagements within the FCC technology domain and collaborate with technology product marketing, growth, and strategy practitioners to derive implications for the industry.
