Job Description

Acclime is seeking a highly capable Senior Analyst to join the Corporate Advisory team based in Pune. This role will act as the leader in a central analytical and execution hub supporting corporate finance and M&A transactions across Australia and New Zealand.

Working directly with team members based in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, the successful candidate will help execute a broad range of engagements including sell-side M&A mandates, capital raising, strategic advisory and financial due diligence.

This role is designed for a commercially minded analyst who combines strong financial modelling capability with sound judgement and curiosity about businesses. The position offers exposure to cross-border transactions, private equity investors and founder-led businesses, as well as the opportunity to contribute to Acclime's own acquisition activity.

Salary Range: 15,00,000 20,00,000 per annum + bonus (based on successful M&A transaction deal completion).

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models including three-statement projections, valuation analysis and transaction scenarios
  • Support preparation of Information Memoranda (IM), pitch materials and buyer outreach documentation
  • Assist with Financial Due Diligence (FDD) including quality of earnings analysis and financial data validation
  • Analyse company financial statements, operating metrics and industry data to support deal positioning
  • Assist Directors in preparing investment committee papers and transaction summaries

Deal Process Support

  • Support management of data rooms and diligence processes
  • Coordinate information flow between buyers, vendors and advisors during transactions
  • Conduct buyer and investor research, including private equity, strategic acquirers and infrastructure investors
  • Help maintain transaction timelines and deal documentation

Commercial Analysis

  • Analyse industry trends, competitor positioning and market dynamics to support transaction narratives
  • Assess business models, margin drivers and capital structures
  • Contribute to valuation discussions and transaction structuring considerations

Platform M&A Exposure

  • Support screening of potential acquisitions for Acclime across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Assist with early-stage diligence, market research and financial assessment of potential targets
  • Contribute to internal M&A analysis and integration preparation where relevant

Team Development

  • Help standardise analytical templates and workflows for the Corporate Advisory team
  • Work closely with analysts in the India delivery centre to improve efficiency and documentation quality
  • Contribute to automation and process improvements within the deal workflow

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical capability combined with commercial awareness.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance or private equity
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Experience analysing financial statements and business performance drivers
  • Excellent written and presentation skills in English

Preferred Background

  • Experience supporting M&A transactions or due diligence processes
  • Exposure to decision-making environments
  • Familiarity with transaction documentation (IMs, teaser decks, FDD papers)
