Job Description

Company Description Chiplogic Technologies (Chiplogic), founded in 2018, is an IP and product engineering services company specializing in Semiconductor, Systems, IoT, and AI/ML domains. The organization delivers high-quality, dependable engineering services, including offshore development centers (ODC) and full turnkey semiconductor design from concept to silicon. Chiplogic also provides proof-of-concept (POC) and end-to-end IoT system solutions, enabling customers to accelerate innovation. In the AI/ML area, the company builds solutions around its proprietary VISARD™ (Video Synthesis And Real-time Dynamics) framework, focusing on advanced video and real-time dynamics applications. Team members collaborate on cutting-edge technology projects with international clients and partners.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with expertise in High Voltage Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design to develop High-Side Gate Drivers and Charge Pump circuits for automotive and industrial power management applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in transistor-level analog design, high-voltage devices, circuit optimization, and silicon validation while working closely with layout and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and enhance High-Side Gate Driver circuits capable of driving up to 80V, leveraging existing IPs and high-voltage technologies.
  • Design and optimize Charge Pump circuits capable of generating 10V–12V above a floating supply across battery voltages ranging from 0V to battery voltage.
  • Understand existing circuit architectures and evaluate high-voltage device characteristics before implementing design modifications.
  • Analyze detailed design specifications and propose architectural improvements wherever required to meet performance targets.
  • Perform transistor-level schematic design, simulation, optimization, and verification across PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) corners and Monte Carlo analysis.
  • Ensure designs comply with reliability, ESD, latch-up, and high-voltage design guidelines.
  • Optimize designs for power consumption, silicon area, performance, and robustness while meeting product specifications.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to achieve optimal layout implementation and estimate silicon area.
  • Perform post-layout extraction (PEX) simulations and resolve layout-induced performance issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, simulation reports, and verification results.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and milestone reviews following the development process.
  • Work closely with system architects, verification teams, layout engineers, and product engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design.
  • Strong expertise in High Voltage Analog Circuit Design.
  • Hands-on experience designing:
  • High-Side Gate Drivers
  • Charge Pumps
  • Level Shifters
  • Voltage Regulators (LDOs)
  • Comparators
  • Bias Circuits
  • Protection Circuits
  • Strong understanding of High Voltage CMOS/BCD technologies.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and Analog Design Environment (ADE).
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • PVT Analysis
  • Monte Carlo Simulations
  • Corner Analysis
  • Reliability Verification
  • Post-Layout (PEX) Simulations
  • Good understanding of layout techniques for analog and high-voltage circuits.
  • Experience in schematic reviews, design documentation, and silicon debug is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality and reliability standards is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Automotive PMIC, Motor Driver ICs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), or Power Management ICs.
  • Exposure to high-voltage device characterization and gate driver architectures.
  • Knowledge of mixed-signal verification methodologies and silicon bring-up.
