We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer with hands on experience in RAG, Prompt Engineering, etc.,

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models, algorithms, and solutions to analyze complex biological and pharmaceutical data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and contribute to project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain machine learning models, developing advanced algorithms for tasks such as image analysis, natural language processing, and predictive modeling.
- Adhere to best practices in AI model development, deployment, and maintenance, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay abreast of the latest AI advancements, assessing their potential application and promoting innovation within the organization.
- Engage with external partners to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies and tools.
- Provide expertise in AI-related discussions, presenting findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Implement and refine state-of-the-art machine learning models and deep learning architectures.
- Optimize AI models for performance and reliability, considering computational and regulatory constraints.
- Contribute to the development of AI-related best practices, standards, and guidelines within the organization.
- Participate in scientific and technical discussions, presenting findings to various audiences.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models and systems.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- Hands on experience in Building LLMs/Generative AI solutions from scratch using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Crew
- Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with software engineering practices.
- Practical experience in developing and deploying AI model, production-grade conversational AI systems
- Experience in RAG systems and knowledge base integration with LLMs
- Experience in Prompt engineering and techniques for improving model performance
- Experience in using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance related to AI in the biotech and pharma industries is advantageous.
- Profound knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and statistical methods.
- Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and tools.
- Enthusiasm for keeping up-to-date with AI research and advancements.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI patterns: ReAct, tool use, planning strategies, memory management, etc.
- Familiarity with fine-tuning and training custom language models
- Understanding of prompt testing and evaluation frameworks
- Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with OpenAI, Claude and other Generative AI Models
- Experience with Dataiku, Databricks, AWS Sage maker, Google Vertex AI
- Knowledge of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry is a plus
