Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior AI Lead to drive enterprise-scale adoption of AI / ML, Generative AI & Agentic AI systems. The ideal candidate shall lead technical delivery of complex, cloud native and AI enabled engagements, contributing as a hands-on individual contributor and, where required, leading engineering teams to ensure high-quality, predictable outcomes. The role requires a combination of strategic leadership with deep hands-on expertise in building AI / ML applications, LLM & Agentic AI applications, LLMOps, and secure AI architectures, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-impact AI implementations.

Key Responsibilities
- Own enterprise AI solution architecture across AI / ML , GenAI and Agentic AI from data to deployment.
- Drives AI-First data engineering principles and mindset in the team to make the best of AI tools and services while helping in orchestration, transformation, and operationalization of AI/ML-powered data solutions, especially for fintech and banking sectors.
- Hands-on with platforms such as OpenAI (GPT models), Anthropic (Claude) and Open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral etc)
- Expertise in Prompt engineering & evaluation, Fine-tuning, embeddings, and RAG architectures
- Guide and mentor AI engineers and data scientists on architecture choices, model evaluation, and solution options.
- Partner with security, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Continuously upskill self to inspire the team as much, to be able to build future-ready skills, collaborate with other specialist teams, product teams, and client to co-create innovative solutions and help tackle the challenges.
- Drives new ways of thinking, across the division and subsidiary, to improve quality, engineering productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.
- Implement rapid prototyping and able to lead from brainstorming and whiteboarding ideas to production-ready solutions driven by AI-first mindset. Upskill consistently to get better in this and deliver innovation for customers.
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI,
- Strong understanding of agent orchestration, tool usage, and memory systems
- Build multi-agent orchestration frameworks for complex workflows and enable tool-using agents (APIs, databases, enterprise systems integration
- Integrate AI into enterprise applications via APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI systems LMOps tools (Weights & Biases, MLflow, LangSmith, Arize AI)
Experience
- 10 - 12 years in AI/ML, data science, or advanced analytics, with senior experience in enterprise solution architecture.
- Hands on coding proficiency in Python
- Proven experience evaluating and deploying AI models in fintech environments
- Strong hands‑on expertise in model evaluation, benchmarking, and experimentation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both executive leaders and senior engineers.
- Excellent ability to design, prioritize, plan and track large scale products.
- Deep understanding of AI governance, observability, and lifecycle management.
Preferred Experience
- Experience evaluating vendor AI solutions, foundation models, Exposure to AI risk management frameworks.
- Experience working in mid or large, enterpriseswith background in fintech / banking is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to translate complex business problems into AI solutions
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
