Job description of Senior Prompt Engineer

Position: Senior Prompt Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize system prompts to achieve consistent AI outputs.
• Test and adjust prompts to improve accuracy, safety, and stability.
• Work with product and engineering teams to apply prompt improvements in real use cases.
• Maintain prompt libraries and guidelines for internal use.
• Stay updated on best practices in prompt engineering.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).
• Strong skills in structured writing, logic, and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to design prompts that deliver consistent results.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with basic programming concepts in Java (not required, but a plus).
• Experience in NLP, linguistics, or cognitive science.
• Prior work in AI-powered products or content optimization. Certifications:
• DeepLearning.AI ChatGPT Prompt Engineering for Developers
• DeepLearning.AI Generative AI with Large Language Models
• Other relevant certifications in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI (e.g., DeepLearning.AI, OpenAI or equivalent) are a plus
