We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Back-end Developer to join our E-commerce / Digital Experience Platforms Competency Center. This is a senior-level role for a professional who takes full ownership of delivered solutions and acts as a technology partner for the client, not just an implementer.
You will be part of a highly skilled, international team delivering complex Adobe-based digital solutions. Working closely with client stakeholders, you will help shape technical decisions, propose optimal solutions, and ensure strong alignment between business and technical requirements.
Candidates must be open to office-based work from the Sii Pune office.

Your tasks
- Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions based on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Owning features and components end-to-end, from concept through production deployment
- Collaborating closely with client stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, and development teams to refine requirements
- Defining and proposing optimal technical implementations aligned with business needs
- Ensuring high code quality, performance, scalability, and security standards
- Participating actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and delivery practices
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x)
- Valid Adobe Experience Manager certification (mandatory)
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache Sling (Sling Models) and Apache Felix
- In-depth knowledge of JCR repositories, preferably Apache Jackrabbit Oak
- Very good proficiency in Java / Java EE
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocol, RESTful architectures, and REST APIs
- Practical experience with JSON, XML, SQL, and working directly with international clients as a senior technical partner
