- Understanding of access control principles, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
- Management of privileged accounts and access rights to sensitive systems and data.
- Operational Management: -
- Ability to respond to IAM-related incidents, such as unauthorized access attempts, compromised credentials, or data breaches.
- Implementation of incident response procedures specific to IAM and AAA systems.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) related to identity and access management.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: -
- Clear and concise communication of IAM and AAA-related issues, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation of IAM processes, procedures, incidents, and audits.
- Preparation of detailed reports, metrics, and presentations for management reviews and regulatory audits.
- Continuous Improvement and Adaptability: -
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest IAM and AAA technologies, trends, and best practices through ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM and AAA capabilities and effectiveness.
