We are looking for a Senior Ad Operations Specialist – In-App Monetisation to drive revenue growth and optimize ad performance across mobile applications. In this role, you will manage end-to-end ad monetisation strategies, leveraging data, technology, and experimentation to maximize yield and enhance user experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Ad Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the in-app ad stack across multiple formats and mediation platforms. This role involves driving yield optimization, analysing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve revenue, fill rates, and overall ad efficiency.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and demand partners to ensure seamless ad delivery and continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end in-app ad stack across multiple ad formats
  • Drive yield optimisation strategies to maximize revenue, fill rate, and CPMs
  • Perform deep-dive RCA (Root Cause Analysis) on revenue drops, CPM fluctuations, and fill rate issues
  • Work extensively with mediation platforms such as AdMob, IronSource, and MAX
  • Implement and optimize mediation setups including waterfall and in-app bidding strategies
  • Handle and optimize across ad formats:

-Rewarded Video (RV)

-In-stream (Audio/Video)

-Banners

-Interstitials

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve ad performance and user experience
  • Monitor key KPIs and continuously identify opportunities for optimisation

Technical & Platform Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of mediation and ad platforms including MAX, IronSource, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager (GAM)
  • Hands-on experience with header bidding or Prebid integrations (preferred)
  • Understanding of SDK integrations, troubleshooting, and version upgrades
  • Knowledge of auction dynamics including waterfall vs bidding models and floor pricing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and derive actionable insights
  • Experience in A/B testing and experiment design (floors, demand partners, setups)
  • Ability to monitor and improve key KPIs such as DRR (Daily Run Rate), CPM, Fill Rate, and Match Rate

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in the in-app ad monetisation ecosystem
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
