The Senior Accounts Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting financial planning activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and MIS on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and assist in financial planning and forecasting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all accounting transactions.
- Implement internal controls and recommend improvements in financial processes.
- Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
