Cogncise manages the back-office, finance, and compliance operations for Australia based company a leading energy-efficiency solutions provider specializing in sustainable technologies, HVAC, and solar installations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Manager to manage the complete accounting, compliance, and P&L reporting for both Cogncise India and Australia. The role requires strong financial acumen, coordination with auditors and government agencies, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records across both domestic and international entities.
Key Responsibilities:
For Cogncise Business Services (India):
- Manage complete bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance operations.
- Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial summaries.
- Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for statutory filings (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, etc.).
- Handle payroll processing, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Oversee statutory compliance, liaising with government authorities and auditors.
- Ensure timely monthly and annual financial reporting for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense control initiatives.
For Cogncise Pty Ltd (Australia):
- Maintain detailed bookkeeping and financial records in coordination with the Australian management team.
- Prepare monthly P&L reports, track expenses, and ensure alignment with budgets.
- Manage cross-border payments, invoices, and financial reconciliations between India and Australia.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning, project costing, and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with both Indian and Australian financial documentation standards.
- Liaise with the Australian team for quarterly financial reviews and audit coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Income Tax regulations.
- Experience in international financial coordination or dual-entity management (preferred).
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with both Indian and overseas teams.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity in handling financial data.
