Position Summary

We have a new position for a Senior Accounts Executive, to join the Indian finance team at our head office based in Hebbal, Bangalore, India.

About the role

The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable, employee reimbursements, vendor payments, statutory compliance, and month-end closing activities. The role also supports audits, MIS reporting, and maintenance of finance dashboards to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

  • Process vendor invoices, ensure proper approvals, and make timely payments to vendors.
  • Mapping of bank transactions with both respective customer and vendor accounts.
  • Review, verify, and process employee expense claims in line with company policies.
  • Support month-end closing activities by ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of AP and employee expenses.
  • Execute foreign payments accurately and within agreed timelines and ensure bill of entries are closed in IDPMS portal of RBI.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly schedules for travel and marketing expenses.
  • Process cash and bank payments and ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of transactions.
  • Ensure timely deduction, payment, and compliance of TDS regulations and related reporting requirements.
  • Provide required data, schedules, and documentation to support audits and management reporting.
  • Own and maintain finance dashboards, ensuring timely updates and accuracy of information.
  • Assist with assigned ad hoc projects to ensure they meet specified team and business outcomes.

Education and work experience requirements:

  • M.COM and (or) MBA Finance / CA Inter qualified professionals with 3 – 5 years of work experience in accounting and finance.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and current regulations, including GST, Customs, FEMA and Income Tax.
  • Interested in handling MIS and business reporting's with significant exposure to data analysis.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and related automations to improve efficiency.
  • Able to organize and manage diverse tasks efficiently within agreed timelines.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
