Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedAccounting Managerto oversee accounting and finance operations of our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of QuickBooks, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. You will manage the accounting team, ensure compliance with company policies, and play a crucial role in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations using QuickBooks
• Lead and manage the finance team for the India office
• Review team output, provide training, and supervise staff
• Maintain precise financial records and prepare financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations regularly
• Prepare and analyze financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Oversee management of fixed assets, including monthly depreciation and lease amortization

Requirements:

• Education: CMA or CA with a bachelors degree in commerce (B. Com)
• Experience: Over 5 years of accounting experience (QuickBooks proficiency preferred)
• At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory accounting role
• Experience in managing accounting teams, ideally for offshore clients in the US or Canada
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation
• Proficient in Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to work in the US Eastern Standard Time zone (night shift)
