Senior Accountant US Accounting

What You'll Do

End-to-End Accounting

Handle the complete accounting cycle including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate books as per US GAAP.

AP & AR Management

Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing and aging reports. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment gateways like Stripe and Mercury.

Month-End Close & Reporting

Support and manage month-end and year-end closing. Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and monthly MIS reports for management.

Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, sales tax, and 1099 requirements. Support internal and external audits.

Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

What We're Looking For

Experience

46 years of experience in US accounting, preferably in a startup or SaaS company.

Tools

Experience with QuickBooks

Strong Excel skills.

Knowledge

Understanding of US GAAP, revenue recognition, 1099, sales tax.

Skills

Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
