Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, manage statutory compliances, oversee cost accounting related to signage production, and provide strategic financial insights to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including vendor payments and client billing cycles.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, loan management, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee inventory and cost accounting for raw materials (acrylic, metal, LED components, etc.) and finished signage products.
- Track project-wise costing, material consumption, and profitability analysis.
- Support budget preparation, variance analysis, and expense control measures.
- Supervise a team of junior accountants and ensure all documentation and records are maintained systematically.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and banks as needed for financial coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 58 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or signage industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting standards.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and ROC filings.
- Experience in inventory management and cost accounting in a production setup.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a small finance team.
- High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Compensation
- Salary: 30000 40,000 per month (depending on experience).
