Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in the Bengaluru metropolitan area. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, manage budgeting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, performing reconciliations, monitoring taxes, and producing reports for upper management. The role also requires collaboration with internal teams and external auditors to ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budget planning, and reconciliations
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards
• Strong skills in financial software, such as Tally & SAP
• Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CA certification is a plus
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
• Experience in the retail or jewelry industry is an advantage
