Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area for a Senior Corporate Accountant. The individual will oversee financial operations, perform comprehensive analyses, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts, conducting audits, and assisting in budget preparation. The Senior Corporate Accountant will also be responsible for leading financial reporting, managing tax matters, and supporting strategic financial planning to ensure organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting principles, and budget preparation
- Strong knowledge of auditing practices, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in communication, leadership, and team collaboration
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
