We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and highly efficient Senior Accountant who thrives under pressure and enjoys solving challenges in a fast-paced startup ecosystem.
Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations :
- Manage day-to-day accounting including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conduct vendor and client reconciliations.
GST & TDS Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Perform GST reconciliation between books and portal.
- Compute, deduct, and file TDS returns.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance and avoid penalties.
- Handle GST notices and departmental queries.
Vendor & Event Accounting
- Track event-wise budgets and expense allocation.
- Manage vendor advances, contracts, and settlements.
- Monitor cost control and event-level margins.
- Support operations team with financial insights.
Systems & Tools
- Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho Books.
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas preferred)
- Support accounting automation and system improvements.
Qualifications
- B.Com (Mandatory)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter (Preferred)
- 13 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in startup / events / hospitality industry preferred

- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards
- In-depth understanding of GST and TDS laws
