About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting audit and close processes in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily and monthly accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely close of books
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform financial statement analysis and document explanations for variances and fluctuations
  • Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  • Assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews by preparing supporting documentation
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and proactively follow up with clients on payments and invoice discrepancies
  • Audit and reconcile Accounts Payable invoices and migrate approved invoices into QuickBooks

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in general accounting, including AP, bank reconciliations, prepaid assets, accrued expenses, and monthly close
  • Prior experience in a Professional Services, Consulting, or high-growth technology environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and internal audit practices
  • Proficient in NetSuite General Ledger and QuickBooks
  • Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms
  • Exposure to Salesforce-based systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments
  • High personal integrity and strong work ethic
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Required Skills

Proficient in NetSuite General Ledger and QuickBooks, strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms, exposure to Salesforce-based systems.
