We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior accountant to join our team at LEX N TAX ASSOCIATES! If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of accounting, GST, statutory compliance, Tally, and MS Excel, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, expenses, bank transactions, and ledger maintenance in accounting software
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and perform regular GST reconciliations with books and GSTR-2B
- Prepare and file annual GST returns including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, and assist in resolving discrepancies identified during annual reconciliation
- Manage ROC and MCA compliances under the Companies Act, 2013, including preparation and timely filing of statutory forms
- File ROC forms such as AOC-4, MGT-7, MGT-14, DIR-3 KYC, and other applicable INC forms within statutory timelines
- Handle LLP compliances, including preparation and filing of LLP annual returns and event-based forms
- Maintain statutory registers, board resolutions, minutes, and compliance documentation as per regulatory requirements
- Work on the MCA portal for filings, track form status, handle resubmissions, and manage DSC and DIN-related activities
- Maintain a compliance calendar, monitor statutory due dates, and ensure timely completion of all regulatory filings
- Assist in handling notices from tax or regulatory authorities and support internal or external audits by providing required documents and explanations
