Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in general accounting, taxation, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, banking operations, and strong experience in accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and vendor management. Familiarity with import/export procedures and commercial documentation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general accounting functions including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
  
• Oversee billing, sales and purchase accounting, and prepare tax invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills.
  
• Handle complete GST filings, TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliance.
  
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) cycles efficiently.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor accounts and payments.
  
• Prepare and review financial reports and assist in finalization of accounts.
  
• Ensure compliance with income tax, GST laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  
• Maintain records related to import and export transactions and assist with required documentation.
  
• Support audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary financial data and explanations.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Semi CA).
  
• Proficient in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Zoho books, SAP, Tally and Ms Excel.
  
• Hands-on experience in billing, tax documentation, and reconciliation processes.
  
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and compliance.
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  
• Should have Experience working in the Manufacturing Industry.
