Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, manage general ledger accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, managing budgets, leading audits, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and transparent reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and General Ledger management
- Strong skills in Budgeting, Reconciliation, and Financial Analysis
- Ability to prepare and oversee audits, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
- Proficiency in accounting and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar applications)
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Experience with tax compliance and reporting (national and local regulations) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification is preferred
